Confessions of a
gorehound….the original leprechaun spooked me when I was a
wee lad renting dusty VHS tapes off the shelf at the local video king super
store; Mystical ultra-powerful beings with ill-defined reality bending powers
always seen to make the hair stand up on my neck a bit. The series quickly degraded into self-parody
and I never had any interest in anything but the first movie, but this seems to
be more of a return to true horror form…
